I don’t know about you but I’ve never followed fashion rules. If I’ve wanted to wear something then I just did it. Only you can define your iconic style. I’ve always thought that the no white rule after Labor Day was a silly one. In fact that’s when I usually wear my white jeans, after Labor Day. By pairing them with a baggy black tee and sweater gives them that edgy Fall look. For those of you still wondering if it’s okay to wear white in the fall I’ve come up with two different looks by switching clothing pieces in and out.
If you choose to wear white shoes in the fall make sure they are leather or sneakers. If they are leather try pairing them with other darker pieces such as a black leather skirt. The same goes if you decide to wear a white turtleneck top, pair it with black leather pants. Both of these outfits can be worn in late October and early September when the weather is still transitioning from Summer to Fall.
You can also try one of the outfits that I’ve shown here. By pairing white skinny jeans with either a suede high bootie or a leather biker style bootie. I absolutely loved how each boot gave the outfit a different feel. The outfit was balanced and edgy since the top, shoes and purse were black. The sweater completely tied the outfit together because it had white mixed with black to give the outfit an all around Fall feel.
If you are not a person who likes to wear high heals try ballerina flats. Either one of these can still make the look of this outfit amazing. Remember that if you’re not comfortable in something, others will be able to tell and that’s the last thing you want.
