FINDING BALANCE IN A WORLD OF CRAZINESS

finding balance in a world of craziness

It’s  been exactly two weeks since I’ve last posted. Not because I’ve been unmotivated or even busy according to societies definition. I can’t even give you an honest answer as to why, but that’s beside the point. If I had to sum everything up right now unclear would be it.

I’m still trying to find that happy balance between reaching out and finding the joy in simple things. Sometimes I’m so focused on making it that I forget why I started in the first place. It’s then I remember that there will always be a million things to do. Just because I write a list and cross out each task one by one doesn’t mean I’m finished. I’ll never be finished, neither will you. What I want to let each of you know is that as long as you’re looking down at all the things you have to do, you’ll never look up and enjoy the beauty of all the things you’ve done.

Find the balance and happiness in your life and know that it’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to break up long chunks of time with the people you love on things you love to do. It is then that you’ll truly understand that you don’t always have to spend time being busy. Take time walking outside, photographing things or even taking a yoga class. Just do what you love and don’t apologize for doing it.

When I take time out from not being busy and do things I love I come back to my task more motivated than ever. It is then that my head is completely clear and open to new ways of doing things. This is because I stopped, took some time to look up and enjoy life for what it is, not what I want it to be right now.

These two weeks off have been a learning experience in itself. I have been able to accomplish so much. But my biggest accomplishment was learning to be okay with time off. I’ve found that what I’ve been working on won’t magically disappear, it will still be there when I  return.

Such a beautiful yet truthful statement. Balance is so important as well as appreciating each moment for what it is.
